For industrial purchasers, project engineers and facility managers
As the primary energy source of the unit, the engine directly determines output capacity and reliability. All industrial-grade generators in our lineup adopt 4-stroke, direct-injection, turbocharged and air-to-air intercooled (TCA) diesel engines; high-end models are equipped with a high-pressure common rail (HPCR) fuel injection system.
- Fuel System: HPCR technology enables precise control of injection timing and fuel volume, delivering finer fuel atomization. Compared with traditional mechanical injection pumps, it reduces specific fuel consumption by 8%–15%, lowers exhaust emissions, and ensures smoother idle operation.
- Air Intake System: Turbocharging + air-to-air intercooling increases intake air density and maintains stable power output at high altitudes and high ambient temperatures. It is fitted with a dry-type air filter with resistance alarm, suitable for dusty construction sites.
- Cooling System: Standard closed forced-circulation water cooling system with a thermostat for intelligent water temperature control. For extreme cold regions, a jacket water heater can be installed to maintain constant engine block temperature and enable reliable one-key start at -40°C.
The alternator converts mechanical energy into stable electrical energy. Industrial-grade units generally use brushless synchronous AC alternators with 100% copper windings.
- Excitation Method: Brushless excitation eliminates carbon brushes and slip rings, reduces friction loss, extends maintenance intervals, and improves operational reliability – ideal for unmanned operation scenarios.
- Winding Technology: H-class insulation all-copper stator windings with vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI), with a temperature resistance rating of 180°C, excellent moisture resistance and aging resistance. The output sine waveform is optimized, with steady-state voltage regulation ≤ ±0.5%, transient voltage regulation ≤ ±10%, and voltage recovery time ≤ 1.5s.
- Harmonic Control: Optimized stator slot design and winding distribution achieve line voltage total harmonic distortion (THD) < 5%, which safely drives non-linear loads such as PLCs, variable frequency drives and precision instruments, avoiding equipment malfunction and damage.
As the "brain" of the unit, the control system realizes full-process operation monitoring, automatic control and fault protection.
- Core Controller: Industrial-grade PLC intelligent control panel with bilingual display. It collects dozens of operating parameters in real time – voltage, current, frequency, water temperature, oil pressure, speed, etc. – and supports fault recording and historical data query.
- Protection Mechanism: Built-in multiple protections for over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, overload, over-speed, high water temperature, low oil pressure and low fuel level. Under abnormal conditions, it triggers automatic alarm and shutdown to prevent irreversible damage to the unit.
- ATS Integration: Compatible with a full-automatic transfer switch (ATS) cabinet. It automatically starts the generator set and closes the output within 3–5 seconds after mains failure; when mains power is restored and stable, it automatically cools down, shuts down and switches back to the mains circuit – fully unmanned operation.
- Silent Noise Reduction System: Silent-type units adopt a multi-layer composite noise reduction structure: inner layer of flame-retardant sound-absorbing cotton, middle layer of damping sound insulation board, outer layer of cold-rolled steel plate with plastic spraying. The intake and exhaust channels are fitted with impedance composite mufflers, achieving noise levels as low as 65 dB(A) at 7 meters under rated conditions, meeting urban commercial environmental standards.
- Frame & Base Base: Integral steel welded frame with rust removal and plastic spraying treatment for high vibration resistance. The base integrates a large-capacity daily fuel tank and is equipped with rubber vibration isolators to reduce vibration transmission, requiring no additional installation foundation.
| Parameter | Technical Definition | Engineering Significance for Sizing |
|---|---|---|
| Prime Power (PRP) | Rated output power for 24-hour continuous operation, allowing 10% overload for 1 hour every 12 hours | Reference standard when the generator serves as the primary power source in off-grid areas |
| Standby Power (ESP) | Emergency output power during mains interruption; maximum 500 operating hours per year; no overload allowed | Reference standard for conventional backup power scenarios |
| Steady-State Voltage Regulation | Maximum deviation of output voltage when load varies from 0 to 100% | Lower value = higher power stability; required ≤ ±1% for precision equipment |
| Frequency Stability | Deviation range of output frequency under load fluctuation | Directly affects speed accuracy of motor-driven equipment; industrial standard ≤ ±0.5% |
| Specific Fuel Consumption | Fuel mass consumed per kW·h of output power (g/kW·h) | Core indicator of unit economy; industrial-grade units typically ≤ 220 g/kW·h |
| Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) | Average operating time between two failures | Reflects reliability; high-quality industrial units can reach 2,000+ hours MTBF |
Core sizing principle:
Rated generator power ≥ Total actual load power × Simultaneity factor × Impact margin
- Resistive loads (lighting, heating): sum rated power directly, simultaneity factor 0.8–0.9
- Inductive loads (motors, pumps, air conditioners): starting current is 3–7 times rated current; reserve 2–3 times starting margin
- Non-linear loads (VFDs, UPS, IT equipment): account for harmonic influence; reserve 1.2–1.5 times margin
Example: A construction site with 1×30kW tower crane (inductive), 2×10kW welding machines, 15kW lighting load
Total calculated power = 30×3 + 20×1.2 + 15×0.9 = 90 + 24 + 13.5 = 127.5 kW
Recommendation: 150kW prime power unit with safety redundancy.
Rated power is calibrated under standard conditions (altitude ≤ 1000m, ambient temperature 25°C). Derating is required under harsh environments:
- For every 1000m increase in altitude, output power decreases by 3%–5% due to lower air density
- For every 10°C rise in ambient temperature, output power decreases by 2%–3% due to reduced heat dissipation
- For combined high-altitude + high-temperature scenarios, select the next higher power class or customize a plateau-specific model.
When single-unit power cannot meet demand, or high power redundancy is required, a multi-unit parallel scheme is available:
- Supports 2–16 units operating in parallel, with automatic load sharing and circulating current < 5%
- Automatically adjusts the number of running units according to load size for optimal fuel efficiency
- Provides redundant backup: a single unit failure does not affect overall power supply – suitable for first-class load scenarios such as data centers and hospitals.
- CE Certification: Complies with EU Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, meeting EU market access requirements
- ISO 9001: Quality management system certification covering R&D, production and full-process quality control
- ISO 14001: Environmental management system certification, complying with environmental production standards
- Optional certifications: Classification society certification (CCS/LR), mining product safety certification and other industry-specific certifications
Every unit undergoes full testing on a standardized test bench before delivery. Core test items:
- No-load test: verify voltage, frequency and speed stability
- Load test: operating parameter test at 0%, 50%, 75%, 100% and 110% load levels
- Sudden load application / rejection test: verify transient voltage / frequency fluctuation and recovery time
- Protection function test: simulate various faults to verify alarm and shutdown logic
- Noise test: measure noise level at different distances per ISO 3744
- Continuous running test: 8-hour full-load operation with no leakage or abnormality
- Service A (every 250 hours / 3 months): Replace engine oil and oil filter; check fuel and coolant level; clean air filter; inspect terminal tightness
- Service B (every 1,000 hours / 1 year): Replace fuel filter and water-fuel separator; check valve clearance; calibrate injection pressure; test alternator insulation resistance
- Service C (every 3,000 hours / 3 years): Replace coolant and hydraulic oil; inspect cylinder liner, piston and bearing wear; perform insulation drying treatment on alternator windings
- Lubricating oil: CI-4 or higher grade diesel engine oil; use 10W-30 / 5W-40 low-temperature grade for extreme cold regions
- Coolant: use -35°C long-life antifreeze; do not fill with tap water directly to avoid scale and corrosion
- Filters: original or equivalent brand filters are recommended to ensure filtration accuracy and avoid abnormal wear
